In an effort to keep District consumers informed, DISB houses the latest insurance, securities, and banking scams being perpetuated in the financial services marketplace. Also, with the advent of electronic mail, scam artists have discovered new ways to try and cheat people out of their money or other assets. DISB has received several samples of electronic mail scams. Individuals should not respond to such emails but instead, should delete them. Listed below are links to agency fraud alerts and samples of messages that individuals should avoid.
